Course Overview
This course introduces the CLOU Aqua C2.5, a liquid-cooled, utility-scale battery energy storage system. It covers the system’s technical design, safety features, installation, and operational characteristics.
The Aqua C2.5 is a 5 MWh+ containerized BESS built by CLOU. It uses large-format LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells in a standard 20-foot container and is designed for utility-scale applications including grid stabilization and renewable energy integration.
The system is available in two versions:
- Aqua C2.5H — Compatible with a centralized external PCS (power conversion system)
- Aqua C2.5S — Includes an integrated 215 kW string PCS
Both versions share the same container, cell chemistry, capacity, and safety architecture. Where a feature applies to one version only, this course will say so.
This is a basic overview of the CLOU Aqua C2.5. For additional information, including more technical detail, contact CLOU or refer to technical documentation provided with your system.
